Pre-Sale Terms & Conditions – Lifequake Book (October-November 2025)
Thank you for supporting Lifequake – A True Story of Love, Loss and Resilience by Susan Honjo. Please read the following terms carefully before placing your pre-order.
This pre-sale supports the printing of the book’s first edition and is managed by the author as a private individual under Swiss law.
1. Nature of the Pre-Sale
- By placing a pre-order during the period of October – November 2025, you are purchasing the book in advance of its publication.
- Your payment confirms your support and secures a copy from the first printed edition.
- The book is expected to be printed and shipped by November 2025.
- Buyers will be informed by email of the exact launch date, shipping timeline, and pickup options.
2. Payment and Confirmation
- Orders are processed personally by the author.
- Payments are accepted via PayPal only.
- Prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF).
- You will receive an order confirmation email after completing your payment. If you do not receive it, please check your spam folder or contact us:

3. Delivery
- Books will be shipped from Switzerland via Swiss Post.
- Delivery is currently available within Europe only.
- Estimated delivery times vary by destination and local postal service.
- If you live outside Europe and wish to place an order, please contact us first.

4. Launch Event & In-Person Pickup
- Supporters will be invited to a launch event in Geneva on November 2025 (details via email).
- If you attend the event, you may pick up your copy in person and receive a signed dedication from the author.
- If you prefer in-person pickup instead of delivery, please let us know when contacted.
5. Returns, Refunds & Damaged Shipments
- All pre-orders are final.
- No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be accepted once payment is confirmed.
- If your book is damaged in transit, you may file a claim with the postal carrier’s insurance. Photos and proof of damage may be required.
- The author is not liable for delays, losses, or damages caused by postal services.
6. Privacy and Data Use
- Your personal data (name, address, and email) will be used solely to fulfill your order and send relevant updates.
- Your information will never be shared or sold to third parties.

7. Legal Notice
- This pre-sale is organized by the author, Susan Honjo, as a private individual based in Switzerland.
